The Massachusetts Preservation Project Fund is a state-funded matching grant program established in 1984 and administered by the Massachusetts Historical Commission, to fund preservation of properties in municipal or nonprofit ownership that are listed in the State register of historic places. Pre-applications for grants are made by municipal historical commissions.
